I still won't believe this until a respected ITK like Percy or Big Daddy post something updating the situation. We've heard too much shit to believe anything else.

(My bets on either Sunderland or Liverpool)

Come on this is FT.  Staying on topic is a rare, historically speaking.  See Talkshite now claiming BR has said there is no deadline???

seems legit.

This is one of my favourites so far. What the media don't seem to be able to grasp is that there is not a scenario in which Leicester are "defeated". Either we keep what they are describing as a "World Class" player or we get an obscene amount of money, how is either of those a defeat?

That's not funny.

Same as all the shit written about HM then.

Accepted defeat? We hold all the cards here. We can't lose either way.

Correct. We get £80-90m or we keep Slabhead. No wonder we’re pretty relaxed about it. It’s just dragging abit now, and getting increasingly dull

My money is on Chris Sutton.

It is so sad , that we do not want to sell our players to the wealthier clubs, so they can be more successful, earn more money and make the gap bigger between the rest of the clubs in the Premiership. Have these so called top 6 got a divine right to be there? No. Is it only the supporters of these clubs who should be dreaming of the title, FA Cup, Europe etc.? No. I doubt the supporters of Wolves, Everton and West Ham (and Leicester) would be upset if their clubs moved up into the top six and the currents ones got disposed!!

Fortunately, things come and go in football and every dog has his day, hope those supporters in the top six are looking over their shoulders!!

Also what about the lower league clubs, £80m would support all the clubs in Div 1&2 for a whole year, the money does not filter down, they all play football, maybe the TV money should be more wide spread.

Remind me, what was the topic again?  Incidentally and to cut out further banter, I’m from Wales but originally Wigston Lane.

CarrickFan is the bald fella who holds up the “Leicester Reds” manure flag in away end at KP when they are in town that fella drinks in the oadly owl and in the day when they were a champions league team he was always raving how Carrick was the most underrated player in England , I think it’s Simon his name , he has proper little man syndrome as well

Utd are in the shit this season in a big way. OGS is a shite manger. He’ll be gone by Xmas. Then they’ll recover. The quality of their players will still probably see them finish in 6th (that’s assuming they get HM. If they don’t get him, their defence is truly woeful, and could see them not qualify for Europe)

If manutd finish 8th next season, there will be no more media talk of top six.

It will magically turn into the top 8.

Agree,. I think that how long they keep olly will decide on how far out the top 6 they finish, get rid early and get a decent manager in they could recover and challenge. However I see man u in a similar situation to arsenal, they have owners who while they have the money they don’t seem to have the desire or ambition and possibly the competence to really challenge for the top spot.

Unfortunately for us Leicester fans, Harry Maguire is not going to look at things in the same way we are.

We we see things as; if we keep HM, buy a world class winger, then there’s a real chance we will compete with and even finish higher than Utd!

HM more than likely sees that Utd are still one of the biggest clubs in the world, and he knows he can make a fortune there also.

No no one can blame him for wanting a move.
