Yeah a different gazetta journalist saying deal done for 89m euros, about 81m pounds. Odd that all this traction is coming from Italy. Would think this is rubbish and just getting man u fans hooked on their news before spouting more stories about milenkovic savic and lukaku

It’s just another silly **** who has seen Maguire isn’t at training and fancies his chances of calling the transfer so he can be seen as ITK.

I would've thought any genuine Maguire to ManU news - given it's two English clubs and an English player - would more likely be broken by journalists here rather than abroad.

Agents, DoFs, players etc are unlikely to tip off reporters in another country in this scenario.

Not a chance. No agent is going to p*ss of the local media cos they rely on them to spread their messages and devious PR stunts.

Hedging his bets, his website is nothing but clickbait considering there is even an article about the youth player from Villa we picked up. Maguire’s agent is English as well with no links to Mendes or Raiola which is where often the Italian journalists get their stories

Lets face it if there was real movement Percy would be the first and then you’d have your Times/Guardian journalists swiftly behind

I rang in sick to work today, doesn't mean I'm off to DPD.

I would if I were you, I’ve heard their benefits package really is great.

No name journalist from a broadsheet has put their name to a Maguire story all Summer.

Which says a lot because they understand if they want access to a club then you don’t just go make bits up.

Percy has always maintained there’s been a single bid of around £60million

EDIT: Just to extend this I’ve heard the same as Abrasive that City had Sky today at the training ground for the media day and in good faith give them plenty of time. Sky then choose to abuse this by releasing a story without explanation. Understandably we are annoyed

The only thing he's been pushing today is his guts out.

I hear that diarrhoea is hereditary.

Apparently it runs through your jeans.

Makes you wonder what the media is trying to achieve (other that getting HM to leave). It will not sell more papers, it makes them all look like total twats and the players and clubs must just have a good laugh! Why do they waste their time with all this sensationalism?

Why not take all the players to Wembley and have a speed transferring, would be more interesting that listening to the drivel on Sky and Talkshite

MAGUIRE TO COST UNITED £90M

Manchester United will have to pay £90m if they want to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester, one source has told Sky Sports News.

Talks are continuing between the two clubs, however, we understand that they remain well apart in their valuation of the player.
Maguire didn’t take part in Leicester training today.

As we told you a fortnight ago on SSN, Maguire has informed Leicester he wants to leave before the window shuts on Aug 8.
Maguire remains United boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s No 1 transfer target.

What are they talking about? Does the club actually employ someone to sit on the phone and say no until they meet our valuation?

Sounds like the making of a Monty Python skit.

Everton have released a statement denying they made a second bid with players for Zaha after SKY have been selling the story as breaking news all day. Good on Everton to call them out - lying bar-stewards

I think he'll go and it won't be £90m, we're just making United wait to see how high they will go. I just hope we're being proactive looking for a replacement rather than having to shift half the money on Lewis Dunk.
