I recall big Bob Hazell being sent off for QPR for twatting Goodwin.

Talking of which... "Who makes petrol bombs? Bob Hazell, Bob Hazell"

My list - all previously mentioned I think...

Mike Galloway

Walshy

Big Bob - once heard the crunch of one of his tackles from the back of the upper stand of the Double Decker.

Wasilewski

Taggart

Killer

Coatsworth

Ally Mauchlen

Elliot was handy

Jamie Lawrence

But the winner, no contest.....Len Chalmers

Well Lawrence was an armed robber ?, agree with the list, only adding Paul Rambo Ramsey.

Walshy would of had to change his game if he was playing nowadays, would of been sent off every other game he played

Funny watching back on old Premier League footage.

How the likes of Vinnie Jones were professional I do not know, could he kick a ball? No, could he kick the man? OOOOH YEAH!

remember at Man City away when he took out Agüero after 3 minutes. Probably my favourite defender to ever play for Leicester

Huth at Bournemouth few years ago as well - pushed over Callum Wilson, booted the ball at his head, then shoved his teammate in the face.

Only got booked. lol

Are you surprised? After seeing that the ref probably thought, "fuch that, what will he do to me if I send him off"

I think many of us are looking at these guys from when we were 4 foot tall kids.

They looked huge( John Sjoberg for instance was not big guy)and when you are sitting down the front and hearing the tackles it makes a difference.

Graham Cross, Frank Mclintock & John Sjoberg all played the game hard.

They were three of my picks too. Along with Steve Walsh, Marcin Wasilewski and Neil Lennon.

Since my first season, 1987/88, would say

Steve Walsh

Gerry Taggart

Gary Coatsworth

Marcin Wasilewski

Ali Mauchlen and Paul Ramsey - though not sure about these two?

Toughest opponent seen, there IS only one

Billy Whitehurst.

I don't remember Coatsworth being anything other than a very average player..

Leaving out club legend Walsh, putting in 2 controversial figures in Savage and W*** and one universal figure of fun: Heskey.

They did an excellent job in creating a list that has no merit but will get lots of reactions.

Heskey was no hard man, but not having that he's " a universal figure of fun".
