Didn't Stephen Hughes have a bit of a rep ??

I remember him as being pretty soft with the odd terribly timed tackle.

I remember Gerry Taggart grabbing a young Martin Reeves by the throat and giving him a bit of a bollocking during a game once (don't remember the exact game, or what he did to deserve it). Anyone who would be willing to give a teammate a literal kick up the arse during a game deserves a place on this list!

Can anyone else remember that? I do know that it was one of the last appearances Reeves made for us (if not THE last)

I'd actually forgotten about that. I know it was meant as a joke but it seems even weirder looking back at it.

John Sjoberg and Graham Cross took no prisoners.

Willie Carlin was a terrier, being described by Brian Clough as "a belligerent, aggressive little Scouser"

However, Marcin takes the all time bruiser title.

Coatsworth

Feeley

Beat me to it.

Andy Feeley was the hardest man I've ever seen play for Leicester City

Wes isn’t a hard man

He actually seems quite the opposite, a smiling nice placid bloke.

He is the type of person to pull back players not the type to be restrained
