Bit of service in the championship and he will score goals. Shouldn’t be first choice but happy for him to stay.

7 goals in the PL actually not a bad return considering how bad we’ve been lol

He will easily score 10-15 goals next season, the main issue is how can we effectively replace him if he's still commanding 45-60 minutes per game next season, if we sign a younger striker and Vardy is taking minutes off of him, we are then back to square one if we manage to get promoted, since Vardy will be leaving having effectively taken thousands of minutes off of our new striker.
It just seems to me like this is the perfect time to part ways, unless JV is willing to accept a massive pay cut and 15 minute cameos, in that instance he could be a good help for a new striker, but something tells me he won't want that.

Don't underestimate the size of the shake up that's needed at the club this summer.  It's absolutely time for Vardy to move on.

Outside of the country? Probably a smart enough move TBF.

Yemen? Iraq? Jordan? Qatar?

Decisions, decisions.

Lets hope the fans can do something for him at the Ipswich game.

Stand up and clap ? Promotion stand up and clap, Relegation stand up and clap, Win the league stand up and clap, free coconut water stand up and clap etc.

I've mentioned it before, but I'd love for the Ipswich game to be a protest and Vardy send off all in one. Opening 9 minutes of nothing but Vardy songs and then a mass walk out.

Come on. That's just offensive lol

You know, it did feel wrong saying it but il stand by it.

He often gets defended that he 'doesnt get the service' which, to a point, I agree with.

But there's been times where he have counter attacked,  and hes absolutely no where to be seen. Our sole striker offers absolutely no forward option. Whether that be a bad positioning thing (doubt it very much due to his quality and experience) or whether its a fitness thing, either way his performances have been as bad, if not worse, than many of the others.

I’m sorry but you are so deluded.

He isn’t stretching defences or pressing.

He holds way too much sway in the dressing room now for his impact on the pitch.

Time to start again.

Yes he's been great in his time here most obviously and was venting his anger in the media yesterday at our relegation/season of course but last season was the time to call it a day with his being a starting striker and he should have either left last close season altogether for pastures new or just been used as an impact sub this season - not a starting striker as he mostly has been. Service to him hasn't been great admittedly but neither has Vardy!

He wasn’t commanding that much game time last season in the Championship so I don’t see why people think he would be doing it next season - he started in 18 of the 37 games he was available, good chance it could be even less next season so plenty of rotation and minutes available for another striker

Also need to consider whether we are going to be able to afford to bring 2 or 3 brand new strikers that we will need if Vardy and Daka do both leave

He did play almost 2000 minutes though and missed 8 games to injury, i'd want to see that down to about 700 (15 mins per game max)
If we are going to replace him we can't afford to sign someone who "needs time" then have Vardy poaching thousands of minutes off of them, especially on the wages he's likely to be on. I agree on the affordability though, hopefully we have a bit to spend!

Does anyone genuinely think that Vardy would be happy to sit on the bench and come on for 10-15 mins per game if that for a season in the Championship?

Like I said in my previous post, unfortunately - he has too much clout at the club. He will not want to be a "bit part" player. He will feel he has a point to prove and he will use his power at the club to give the manager little chance but to play him. I'm sorry to say that he has past his best and is no longer fit for purpose. Will be a Legend always, one of the best players to play for us ever but now is the time. He has to move on, for both parties it's for the best.

Not many players can suffer two relegation, be good mates with Dennis Wise and still have legendary status at this club. Fully deserved, BTW.

He does need to go, though.
