Someone on Football365 was saying Tottenham were now being a Mourinho-like dirty side, clearly missing the article praising them for their tactical fouling on that website a few years ago.

His stock isn't that high, someone on here recently likened it to Rafa going to Newcastle and it's really difficult to argue otherwise.

It's a big roll of the dice from them, but is definitely a statement, it can't be argued otherwise.

I can't see it ending well.

New manager bounce on wednesday then :(

Questionable whether the new manager will already be in charge by then.

I suppose the Everton board are going to give the Dunc a little bit more time.

True. Although they do seem to be playing for Ferguson. I think we'll need to go full strength for this.

If Ancelloti is genuinely interested in Everton they must be offering him a big wedge. Doesn't seem the sort of job he'd go for.

Maybe they've given Ancelotti the big spiel about how the new stadium will transform the club's fortunes and he would be the final piece of the jigsaw to make them a leading European club.

All hogwash, of course.

Every Everton boss has come in, spent big to revamp the squad rather than building on whats already in place. They've spent loads of money on crap

Even worse, they had Steve Walsh at their disposal, didn’t listen to his expertise, didn’t give him the time to adapt to a new role, undermined him then sacked him.

It’s like Rafa in terms of stature of manager but like Sunderland in terms of being shite for about a decade with chaotic management and really, for their own good, should have got relegated by now.

I rate him think he's a good manager, good appointment

With that sort of career trajectory he'll be at forest soon enough

It was a weird set of appointments, chucking names who'd been successful together and hoping they gel. And obviously they either didn't back Walsh in the market or he recommended poor players
