Would prefer Lenny Glover or Jackie Sinclair.  Much cheaper options and less likely to disturb the dressing room. With him and Wes having a combined age of 70+, it looks like BR is looking to reverse Puel’s high tensity youthful approach.

i think his signing would be as good as when we got cammbiasso ( hope the spelling close.) think they where about the same age, when coming to us and how good was cammbo.

Cambo stood out because he was brilliant at reading the game .....like a beacon of sanity and relaxation amongst a pitch full of chaos ...  but we were immature at this level back then.  We are trying to push top six ...... the only question I would have is - how fit is he?

Both terrific players although Glover can be disruptive in his day . Both would cost less though especially Jackie on account of him being dead these past 10 years :(

Don't be so negative.

His bald head irritates me so not keen. Would rather buy a different class winger who is like 15 years younger because Robben will be out injured and we'll just end up back with Gray and Albrighton.

... Still a better option than Iheanacho!

This, if true, is a giant step backwards. He will be injured a great deal. Wrong age. Will cost an absolute fortune . Definite no for me.

:appl: I am with you with this.  Past his sell by date.

Undeniable quality, but played less than 20 games last season, only 12 in the league.

Ribery, a year older, played 37 (the most he has since 2014) and has done 30+ for each of the last three seasons. More in the tank?

I’d love us to get one of them - great star quality and useful in the mix alongside Albrighton as another older head that Barnes and Gray could learn from. In that sense, maybe Robben’s previous EPL experience (and probably language) gives him the edge.

Lot of Everton fans laughing at this one

Rightly so- we'd be laughing at them if they were linked with one of our best players.

Everton bloggers are saying Keane is better than Maguire.

IMO, whilst I agree Keane is a good player, he is still not in Maguire's class.

It's us that should be laughing.

When they got Keane, we got Maguire.   I know who I'd rather have.

I've never rated Keane but tbf to him he had a decent 2nd half to the season with Everton. He certainly isn't better than Maguire but if he continued his progress after the latter part of this season it wouldn't be a bad signing.

If Maguire was to go then I don't see why we cant go forward with the CBs we have. Benkovic, Soyuncu, Evans and Morgan as our 4 CBs whilst promoting a young CB in to train with the first team and get some cup game action to break him into the squad before Morgans eventual departure makes perfect sense to me.

I think you might be too old for that sh*t Babs!*

Assuming you're not trying to be invert the zeitgeist (or you actually think they are neutral), It should be 'biased, much?'.

Well I think it should, cos I doubt I'm any younger than you.

There's more reliability on football transfers in Ainsley Harriott's left testicle than that account.
