Great news, but as I posted in another thread, that's 3 seasons in a row he's signed a new contract!!

They’ve obviously inserted a clause, chucked a few extra grand a week at him but getting the clause in was the most important thing.

Brilliant call - get that done somebody.

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the opening. Club missed a trick, although our media team seem humourless and go in for the cheesy-music, shallow-focus kind of video.

Great news, he's an exceptional talent that will only improve. If he can sort out his composure and finishing he'll be in the England (or Scotland lol) squad in no time.

To be fair...

"woke up this morning got myself a gun" might not be exactly the right message to give out to our L1 youth.

Weirdest route to the stadium EVER.

When the lads were complaining earlier in the season about it taking too long to get to games by coach - now it's all making sense!

We need a new LCFC route planner stat.

Oh and obviously brilliant news. I'd expect him to be a first team / squad player for probably the next 5-10 years. He'll have a tough job displacing Sancho and Hudson-Odoi who are already in the England senior setup and younger than him, but he could do it. It will be interesting to see how far Barnes can go in the game. Hopefully very far!

Yep. That's got to be the exact reason the song wasn't used. :P

It's class having a player in the team that actually supports us.

I don’t think he does, does he?

Not sure we’ve had a real boyhood supporter play for us for a long time. Even the likes of Chilwell, Schlupp and King who came through weren’t childhood Leicester fans.

Liam Moore claimed he was but didn’t he also used to support one of the ‘big 4’ back in the day as well?

Was told by someone who went to school with him that he is 'Leicester', gutted if not. Chilwell, Schlupp and Moore never were. King I think learnt to love us.

Good stuff! At first I thought wtf has been filming from back seat of my car with those routes, often go countesthorpe way to get to fleckney / kibworth from Anstey. until I saw that watch anyway, which is probably worth more than my car (but I love me car anyway :D)

Happy he's re-signed not that contracts mean much but great we have a talented lad on our team and one of our own too. Exciting times.

On a serious note, fantastic news.

It just shows how our club has progressed since our owners took change.

Great youngsters coming through and been given a chance to play alongside quality players.

Futures bright ?
