4 years 5 years ..  doesn’t really matter ..   if a BIG club wants him, how ever long he has remaining on his contract  ..   he’s off.  :)

This is a really good sign. Part of what we are trying to do is to build a team that develops all together. I'm sure all of the players know how good Youri is and what it means for the team as a whole. Confidence can be everything in football - we proved that at the end of 14/15 and then spectacularly in 15/16. If we get that confidence and buzz into the team from the get go, the sky is the limit!

 

Wolves at home can't come soon enough!

Not saying there are moaners on FT, the response on here has been massively positive and that deservedly so.

 

Just wanted to say it out lout - just in case somebody might moan about the fee (seeing that he's our new record signing).

We haven’t done all that well with record signings in recent years, with the notable exception of Ulloa, but we have good evidence that this one will buck the trend.

Exactly, and this is mainly based on his previous stint with us earlier this year.

This time, we are definitely NOT getting an unknown quantity, and the move fits all parties (Monaco included).

Literally nobody is going to complain, towards the end of the season a lot of people were moaning that we didn't pay the £40m quoted in January.  Well now we have :D

Just watching the  Sky Sports NEWS Transfer Show - so it consists of

  1. Why Paul Pogba is ACE just cos he is
  2. Why Tottenham are EPIC cos 2 players got new contracts
  3. Why Arsenal aren’t SHITE as they might actually sign someone

 

Anyone who thinks (realise this is likely no-one) there is not a top 6 bias is insane.

 

oh - and it’s toilet irregardless. Was expecting they mention Youri...
