I hope i havent moaned ? I loved the 1st half, was surprised how good Perez was and how well he seems to have gelled in with the few 1st team players and in such a short time, i am actually BUZZZZZING to go watch the Atlanta game with more 1st team players and better opposition.

Despite my own comments earlier, here’s some perspective...

 

1st half was very impressive, crisp passing and movement, clearly a few cobwebs bearing in mind it’s our first game in pre season, but good all the same.

 

2nd half - a few good moments but most of the players have done real work to do to get up to standard.

 

Although the players who have come through our academy did well today IMHO, its quite sobering to realise that our 2nd half team cost over £70 million

Can't read too much into the second half. Are Edler, Muskwe, Knight going to play much during the season? They will get cup games at best.
