Players in someone’s team of the week 2019-20

Vardy and Ricardo in Crooks'.

Vardy and Mahrez up front together again :worship:

Usually Crooks just picks players that score a goal, or grab the headlines.

But amazingly he hasn't picked Ndidi. I doubt any player in the P/L played better than him on Sunday.

His teams usually have no balance, are weighted in favour of Spuds and the other so called 'big clubs'.

He's just another pundit I have no time for, along with Sutton, Bleat, Jenus and Murphy.

So glad that out here I can only read what they say, and don't have to listen to their verbal diarrhea.

Wilf and Chilwell in whoscored European  team of the week Ricardo and Vardy only made their premier league team of the week. Vardy kept out of the European team of the week by Slimani who scored a perfect 10, 3 assists and a goal for Monaco :jawdrop:.

How many we think we're getting then? Crooks' being the one most people see.

I reckon Chilwell, Tielemans, Barnes, Perez and Vardy should be there as an absolute minimum. Reckon he doesn't put Barnes in just cause he didn't score though.

You're absolutely right. Perez and Vardy will be in. Only other leicester players who even stand a chance of getting in his team are Tielemans, Chilwell and Maddison just because they scored.

Of those 3, the most likely to get in his team - for reasons I won't say publicly - is Tielemans.

Two players. ****ing two. And he reckons it was all because Dean sent Bertrand off.

He's a prize tit. Terrible at his job.

His job is getting people to read his column, seems to be working.

It would be a shit read if it was just Leicester players.

Jamie Redknapp

Former Liverpool midfielder and pundit Jamie Redknapp has named his latest Team of the Week after the most recent round of Premier League fixtures.

Leicester were the story of the weekend before it had even begun. with the Foxes battering Southampton 9-0 at St Mary’s on Friday night.

Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez both scored hat-tricks while Ben Chilwell, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans were also on target during the biggest ever away win in the Premier League.

It’s no surprise that four of Brendan Rodgers’ side have been included in Redknapp’s Team of the Week, with Tielemans the unlucky goalscorer to miss out.

Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic announced himself as a Chelsea player with a perfect hat-trick – left foot, right foot, header – against Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Clarets came back into the game late on but Pulisic’s goals and a strike from Willian were enough to secure all three points.

Elsewhere Liverpool maintained their lead at the top of the table after coming from a goal down to beat Tottenham 2-1 while Manchester United edged past Norwich despite missing two penalties.

Things were not so easy for Arsenal as they blew a two-goal lead at home to Crystal Palace, with captain Granit Xhaka swearing at fans and storming down the tunnel after being substituted, but one Gunner still makes Redknapp’s Team of the Week

Sokratis is an interesting one given the Arsenal defence conceded two goals to draw the game.

He scored twice, sort of.

Do you still get credit for a good finish if VAR rules it out? He did nothing wrong and tucked it away nicely, top celebration too.
