that pink kit is going to everyone’s heads

That’s pure filth, I don’t want to overreact here, but I do wonder if there has ever been a better CB pairing in the history of World Football than Soyuncu and Evans?

Whats with the laughing emoji reactions to this post? Clearly the best in history.

We've been blessed with top class CBs over the years such as Elliott, Walsh, Taggart, Tunchev, Morgan etc but Evans is up there and above in some areas...

Perhaps not as technically brilliant as Elliott (but close) or as strong as Walsh or Tags but his reading of the game and positioning is just immense.

I was lucky enough to see him at close quarters at the Etihad last season and there were times he had Sterling, Aguero etc running at him alone and the way he picked their pocket or bought himself a few seconds was a joy to behold.

To think he only cost pocket change makes it all even more ridiculous.

Obscene that we got him for £5million. What player.

That was more due to West Brom being idiots. We could have spent 20m+ on him the season before.

But hey, who's complaining from the East Midlands? lol

£3.75m weren't it? Astonishing, and bless up for relegation clauses and nicking taxi's.

Can't explain how much I enjoy having Evans as a LCFC player.

Really wish he was 27/28.

If I told you you have have a really, really wish, would you just go with 27?

By that age he has the expierience but given what he's won I'd knock that down a couple years.

He’s genuinely quality, and a good footballer as well, as the above proves.
