Jon the Hat Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Wow. Mental. I wonder how this will play with the Pro Boris Brexit vote. More ammo for the It's the people vs the Establishment argument.
moore_94 Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 As someone who just kind of follows the general goings on with this mess, what happens now?
String fellow Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Forget Boris, the Queen, Parliament and Brexit - Gina Miller seems to be controlling everything now!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Absolute shit show How are these people the best we can come up with

Benji Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 It really is scathing. The fact it’s unanimous tells you all you need to know - they’re furious at what he’s tried to do. There are bound to be a few of the old boys on that panel who are in favour of Brexit and returning to the days of unfettered parliamentary sovereignty, but this is a legal rather than political decision sending a message to the worm Cummings and his mob that they can’t just do what they want. Pleasantly surprised.

Even Corbyn said he acted wrongly not illegally. In light of 3+ years of the establishment doing everything it can to stop Brexit, he will be seen as a hero trying his best to fight for Brexit. Not sure this makes any difference really. Corbyn is still running scared from a general election, and I think this probably makes this worse not better.
lgfualol Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Queen is dying to behead the buffoon I reckon
Jon the Hat Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Meanwhile, the policies of Labour this week will have pushed voters from the Lib Dems back to the Tories.
WigstonWanderer Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Fantastic judgement from the Justices and brilliantly explained by Lady Hale. Thank God Johnson is not being allowed to get away with this dictatorial behaviour.
danfox76 Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 law dictates that activating article 50 meant we according to law left the e.u back in march.. everything since is smokescreens so the powers that be can cut their deals.. and the fact that we didn't leave in march tells me this will go on and on until only remaining in the e.u is an option.. democracy went out the window back in march.. now its a shit show, where the gov **** us over and go against the will of the people.. Hard Brexit now and **** the powers that be and the elites

Well I'm all about sovereignty for OUR QUEEN GOD BLESS LONG LIVE, shall be sending in my petition for charges of High Treason and the sentence MUST BE Hung Drawn & Quartering to uphold our democracy!
danfox76 Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Boris is actually trying to carry out the will of the people and follow though on the democratic vote.. which was to Brexit.. if he's right or wrong on how he does it is another matter.. anyone who's fighting Brexit is fighting against democracy, and the will of the people.
stripeyfox Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Remember when we all thought Theresa May was the worst PM ever.....

This is the general opinion amongst the Brexiteers and it only strengthens that opinion, they are desperate to achieve Brexit by any means at this point, lawfully or unlawfully. Even so this is unprecedented and by making the Queen an unwilling accomplice to an unlawful act must have consequences, Johnson can't go into hiding over this to avoid scrutiny. He has to resign as his position is untenable and he best hope he hasn't upset the Queen too much otherwise losing his dream job might not be the worst of his problems.

Boris is trying to look after Boris - it just so happens his own interests are temporarily aligned with the leavers...

Tommo220 Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Just now, Jon the Hat said: She had a lot more time, and a majority! and an uncanny likeness to Mr Burns. Thats got to count for something.

Corbyn needs to call a vote of no confidence to trigger a general election.
