Callum Wilson will likely feel the same as Maddison. Never gets any game time, even when Kane came off on Saturday, Southgate put oxlade Chamberlain on. Always the same!

Winks, Wilson, Maddison, Mings and Gomez will all be sat there wondering what they have to do to get on

I’ve really enjoyed watching Kosovo. I like them, they’re plucky and fearless. Taken the game to England and hopefully they’ll qualify.

They’ve got a population of something like 1.8 million. Pretty incredible really. They’ve got the potential to be a more attacking, attractive version of Iceland in 2016.

More power to them I say.

As for England. The moment they play anyone half decent...

Anyone else think Tydsley and Hoddle are a pair of wankers that don't actually understand football?

Attacking wise, we have a lot of options. However, the defence is awful, that’ll be why we’re playing 2 CDMs.

Why we’re so open against a team of this quality is beyond me.

Defence and midfield isn’t good enough... midfield we have good young players coming through so not too worried there. But the defence I’m not sure, the full backs are good but Maguire isn’t good enough, Keane isn’t and so isn’t Stones... we need better quality there. Only Gomez seems to have the potential

Have we ever had 2 of our players actually on the pitch for England? btw just noticed Ronaldo scored 4 goals tonight!

JM must be furious after seeing that. Why the heck was he called up if GS was going to use players that were fairly limited and well known.

the fact maddison didnt get a decent run out is shocking. he is literally being kept out by a guy who cant into chelsea starting 11 behind a guy who had one decent season in the championship, and a few good games for chelsea. Maddison is more deserving of a spot than the two of them combined ffs.

What a load of bollocks that was. Southgate is such a poor manager.  Conceding 3 to a side like that with a miserable defensive midfield like that doesnt look good and it's clearly the wrong option.

Would have liked winks out there to pace the game second half.....we needed to control the game and that’s what he’s good at

rice is good at breaking up possession - we should have been bossing that game from 5-1 and winks would have been better ........

Maybe he hasn’t done enough in training this past week  ?  I heard that mount had been tearing it up at St. George’s last week ......

You question why he didn't give Gomez a shout at CB.

And I agree, winks gives Spurs a good tempo and a decent passing game. Why he didn't bring him on to help see the game out is crazy.

Same with bringing Rashford on. Why not let Wilson have a run out

Clive is, much moreso than Hoddle.

Tyldesley towards the end was saying 'there's not much to pick out from that game' with 100% seriousness too.
