I imagine Steve Bruce sits at home himself and thinks how in gods name have I managed to pull this off?! They’re bottom of pretty much every stat going yet still comfortably safe. It must be a very strange feeling for Newcastle fans.

when are we gonna get pundits/journos etc. facing up the fact that it’s the championship teams and the bottom half prem teams that are ruining the FA cup, not the “big boys”. 

 

yet another pretty strong side from a top half club, whilst mid table, nothing to play for in the championship derby fu cking county have got a youth team out.

So true. The exact kind of boring clubs who should be killing for any kind of silverware they can grab in their miserable existences too.

yep, no surprise it's 8 prem teams (6 top half) in the last 8. 

 

i get the argument that these sides have still made some changes in early rounds, they've just got big enough squads to still look like first teams, but it's your teams that have nothing else to do in a season who seem to routinely be making 7 or 8 changes. BT comms tonight started talking about how good an opportunity it was for derby's manager to "look at the young players" as if it was some sort of friendly or something.

I love the fact Utd fans seems to be loving the victory against 'Rooney's' mid table championship Derby (reserves).

 

Hopefully lulls them into the sense they are class when in fact they are massively mediocre.

Man United come up with some of the most complex chants going. lol

 

It's nowt to do with simplicity and everything to do with their away ends taking pride in originality and being up for singing new stuff, whatever it is.
