Stoopid Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 What a time to be alive! What a time to be a Leicester fan! The absurd happiness that football can give has rarely felt so good. Farcical even... Thank you Khun Vichai for making our football club one that can even dream of nights like this! May you rest in peace.
fazzyfox Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 And before we all claim to have been there in years to come (like the supposed Tardis-esque properties of the 100 Club's legendary Sex Pistols gig) their ground does not hold 73,000. Speaking of which to those who were there, safe journeys home, have a Lemsip for me!
Farrington fox Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Perez's 1st was a stunning clinical team goal. The exchange of passes and the finish, just superb.
An Away Move Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 And I thought beating Shrewsbury Town 5:2 was good back in the day. This might have edged it.

Very very interesting actually. It says an awful.lot about their prep and ability and belief Yh I loved how he said that Brendan has told them all the other teams are waiting for us to drop off as expected but how he wants us to stay at the top of the league rather looking at what other teams are doing.
AKCJ Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Just had a bit of a quiet cry. A year ago tomorrow. Football. Bloody hell.
RumbleFox Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Still in awe of that control by Perez before he missed his chance for a 4th. Bergkamp quality trap.
Blanchflower78 Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Outside of all the obvious stuff have to mention again just how influential Ndidi is to this team. Gets better and better. The glue and catalyst to winning back possession and allowing others the opportunity to forward play. As good a prospect Hamza is you cant change this fella at present 👏
Mike Oxlong Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Hassenhutl was so shocked in his post match interview that he reverted to his mother tongue Was that acceptable from your team - Nein Are there any positives to take from that performance - Nein Do you know how many goals your team conceded tonight - Nein
fazzyfox Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Reporter - "So Jurgen Klopp, are you worried about Leicesters goalscoring, did you see the goals" Klopp "Nein" Reporter "That's right, great weren't they!"
Pinfox Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Forget the records, this is retribution for the Saints giving us Claude Puel! Very fitting on the anniversary of Vichai 🙏
LCCFox96 Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 That was phenomenal. To a man we were excellent. I don't care that it was against ten men, I've never seen us play so ruthlessly and clinically. To see your team score 9 is special. Southampton were alarmingly bad. To concede twice in two minutes twice is criminal.

Leicester recorded the joint-largest ever margin of victory in Premier League history, alongside Manchester United’s 9-0 win over Ipswich at Old Trafford in March 1995. Leicester recorded the biggest-ever victory by an away side in an English top-flight league match in the 131-year history of the Football League. Leicester became only the second team in Premier League history to establish a five-goal lead in the first half of an away game in the competition, after Manchester City against Burnley in April 2010 (also 5-0). Leicester have also become only the second side in Premier League history to have two players score a hat-trick in the same game (Perez and Vardy), after Arsenal in May 2003 - also against Southampton (Pennant and Pires). I spent 2 minutes trying to deselect the text.
Ric Flair Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 A year ago I drank a whole bottle of South African brandy in disbelief as i processed what had or may have happened with Vichai and the other passengers. A year on and I've drank 3 bottles of Malbec and can barely see. My teeth resemble Shane McGowan's and I fcukin love this club. That was for you Khun Vichai. Thank you for everything.
Claridge Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 Rodgers looked angry when he heard that the players called 3-0
