Don't understand the big hard on for being the first to declare. I mean, who really gives a shit?

Best part of the day was telling my brother I'd voted snp, and the 5 minutes it took him to figure out i was chatting shit

Somebody at work asked me today what happens if Sturgeon becomes Prime Minister, does she have to move to London. I was very close to asking my boss who the **** hired her.

His supporters have a stranglehold on our party that they aren't letting go of though. Just a case of how many parts it splits into now I'd have thought.

Just heard a guy on 5live who said he wants him to stay as he's the only one who can beat Johnson. He's projected to get a battering, after a chaotic decade of tory rule. If he can't win this one, he'll never win. The split just splits thr vote though, they somehow need to rid this disease from the party.

Reminds me of the days of shop unions. Whoever shouts loudest thinks they’re right and everyone else is wrong. Just because someone decides to vote in a particular way, doesn’t make them a racist bigot.

She won’t be the only one regretting it 🤢

There's not even any satisfaction to be gained from seeing her squirm as she's the only tolerable Tory on the planet.

Geordie Mackem rivalry and that’s genuinely what I reckon it is lol

I think I just had a pang of nostalgia for Cameron, Clegg and Osbourne. I yearn for the heady paradise of the Blair regime. This is what this situation has driven me to.

I'm voluntarily consigning myself to the bin, where you'll find me be getting drunk.

I don't see any logic or can't fathom how Corbyn stays in after this absolute hammering.

How do you even fight back from a battering like this? As a party or as an individual.

Sturgeon showing Corbyn what an effective socialist leader can achieve

There's no such thing.

Sturgeon trades on the big bad Westminster bullies that she can hang everything on.  If she ever gets her independence and has to pay her own bills voters might not be so kind.  They bottled the full fiscal autonomy after all.

hes on record of saying he'll step down if he'd lose, and let's be honest there will be no snap elections with a majority like that, another 4 years and he's not exactly get younger

So another confirmation these remaining moaning fairies were wrong all along, just wasted three years. Get on with it and do what we’ve told you to do, leave the mess that is the EU. And YES the NHS is already part owned and ran privately by foreign companies, what you’re crying about happening happened years ago.

The projected 55 seats suggests otherwise and her success isn’t just based on the independence argument if the recent polls suggesting a majority are opposed to independence are right

Huw Edwards: We have Christine Jardine in Scotland. Christine, what's going on?

Thanks for the insight, pal. Wish you'd said this at the beginning and none of us would've bothered.
