Does anyone realistically think Brexit will be done by end of Dec 2020?

Like, it's taken 3 years to get nowhere and suddenly all trade deals and agreements between UK & EU (to leave) and with the rest of the world can be done in 12 months?

Not according to the EU it wont. Looking at 3+ years yet easily. Although Boris probably has the strong arm to push through a no-deal brexit now without scrutiny.

Depends entirely on what Boris is willing to trade off. As is being said on the BBC right now, with the majority the tories are predicted, Boris wouldn't have to dance to the extreme tune.

Everything can be voted through the HoC now, it couldn't before. Whether that means it'll be done in a year I don't know.

As someone who doesn’t follow politics, can someone explain why the £ value dropped after the brexit vote, but increased after the exit poll results?

Brexit created uncertainty regarding Britain’s economy, a majority government delivers stability (in theory)

My thoughts are with those who thought they were getting free unicorns from Jezza.

On the plus side though, chicken nugs aren’t going to cost £50 now.

It does as I thought you wanted your Labour party back?

I would never vote Conservative but I’ve lived through 27 years of conservative led government. Britain is a conservative country, it’s not the end of the world.

Boris won’t be beholden to the erg if these numbers are right.  Expect compromise.

Blyth Valley couldn't organise two ducks on a pond. Shocking counting performance from them tonight

At least we can get on with it now.  It’ll never be done if we never start.

Amazingly, although not surprisingly, those who have chosen to stay at home shout the loudest. I am happy to say I have exercised my right to vote simply because it matters.
