FoyleFox Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Some great contenders for the title but surely none compare to us winning the Premier League? https://www.skysports.com/more-sports/news/12040/11859525/greatest-sports-moments-of-the-decade-vote-now-in-sky-sports-poll
Xen Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Ours is probably the biggest achievement on that list, but in terms of a single sporting moment I'm not so sure. The Aguero league-winning goal and the Eng-NZ cricket final probably edge it for me, and Super Saturday at London Olympics has to be worth a shout as well. Still voted for us, of course...
Les-TA-Jon Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 What a stupid list. It's a mix of incomparable, 'moments', 'achievements' and 'historical occasions' It's like saying what was better - Vardy's goal vs Liverpool or using winning the league? They're apples and oranges.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Also WTF is "Alex Ferguson leaving Manchester United" doing on that list!?

Rusko187 Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Voted for us, other moments could be fluked... I maintain, you cannot fluke a season. Tournament maybe.
sm1 Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Ours is the greatest sporting achievement in history let alone a decade.

AKCJ Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Us winning the league isn't a moment. Eden Hazard putting it in the top bins is a moment.
AKCJ Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Going off that list, i'd probably go for the Aguero goal as the "moment" but in terms of sporting success i'd look at the Ben Stokes innings, 5000/1 or 2012 Ryder Cup.
Guest Danny Clender Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 I can't believe "When people started comparing footballers to Pirlo" isn't on there. That's definitely one of my favourite from this decade
420Hashish Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 I voted for us of course. They should add English youngsters never age, like Lingard.
yorkie1999 Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Eden Hazzard scoring against spurs in 2016
womp Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 easily us.you'd think it will never happen again.
Fox92 Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Got to be us in terms of achievements. There are plenty of great moments on there but we won the whole league, it wasn't a moment.

Both fruit?
Izzy Posted 13 November 2019 Posted 13 November 2019 Obvs us winning the PL but apart from that I'd vote for the miracle at Medina Ryder Cup. If you're a golf fan or just a fan of sporting drama in general, that was the most incredible comeback in sport ever imo

Hammo Posted 14 November 2019 Posted 14 November 2019 No sports fan ever - and I mean ever - can have felt as euphoric as we did at the final whistle of Chelsea v Spurs on 2 May 2016. The. Greatest. Sporting. Moment. Ever.
