urban.spaceman Posted 4 December 2019 Author Posted 4 December 2019 Club record too - 7 straight wins in the Premier League.
silebyboy Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Well I for one am really enjoying the ride this season.
Vacamion Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Look at those subs Look at that game management The future is so bright.
Izzy Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Job done. Bit scrappy but who cares. Watford came to defend and did it well. Kasper fvck all to do. 3 more points, another clean sheet, back in second, club record 7 wins on the spin. Glory days
StriderHiryu Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Controlled the game, though not exactly a vintage performance. But in December as the fixtures come thick and fast it's about rotating the squad and grinding out the results, and we did that very well today. Brilliant game management I felt from a young team. Good to see Praet, JJ (who looked great!) and Hamza get a run out as we will need them in the next few weeks.
wardyfox86 Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Evans MotM. They never looked like scoring. A bit disjointed but rotation is needed. Good teams win when not at their best.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Great result, average performance, think a few of these need a rest soon. What formation were we playing at the end and who was playing where?! I was so confused. Motm Barnes maybe.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Reckon there’s any chance the ref saw the highlights at half time?
Tielemans63 Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Not the best performance but a brilliant win in my mind. We had to fight for that and controlled the game for 90 minutes. You can't play brilliantly every week but we showed real guts today against a team who sat back.
EastAnglianFox Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 We could roll Fuchs out into his 40's and he'd still be a solid 8/10
Chester Dontlie Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 One of the comfiest two-nils I ever saw. Really impressed with the changes BR made, even if in the second half we werent looking as slick as in the first. That Justin lad is looking alright too What a time to be a Leicester supporter

spacemunky Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Wasn't pretty(unlike Kasper's hair) but a win nonetheless!
Blanchflower78 Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 We looked jaded tonight, no tempo. Tielemens and Perez particularly off it. Watford were game without threatening, need to regain our tempo for Villa which wont be easy.
urban.spaceman Posted 4 December 2019 Author Posted 4 December 2019 Controversial opinion - I'm glad this was extremely low key victory and not a high octane game. Fixtures are piling up and the most efficient we can be with personnel the better.
midland_red Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Didn't see the match but a bit worried about the number of people on here who thought we looked knackered..
Guest Manini Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Even when we won it we didn’t always control games like that. We’re a top top side and it’s bloody lovely to see.
Langston Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 We'd have lost that last season or gotten frustrated. For how "not at our best" we were we still created at least four or five gilt-edged openings. Sign of a really, really good side

Honestly it was almost a made up formation! Felt like a lopsided 4231. They made so few forays forwards that Ricardo was basically playing as an additional winger and not having to track back. I've seen Rodgers use something like that at Celtic, though it would be Tierney on the left hand side raiding instead of Ricardo.
