Regrettably, his words and actions since then have been divisive, misleading, and self-serving. They have contributed to a toxic atmosphere around the club…

Christ that statement

That statement is one hell of a character assassination.

And the least surprising of it is that it reads as if all of it could be true!

We could have put out a similar statement, it all rings true.

I am conflicted now. I want to see Hearts win the league because it would be great to see a different title winner in Scotland. However, Celtic kicking on and winning the league would really show Rodgers up and could ruin his chances of getting a decent job if he doesn't find one in the next few months. I am that petty, yes. We are in the dire position we're in now largely, but not solely because of Rodgers.

I mean, if it isn't provably true, then wouldn't Rodgers have grounds to take legal action?

This is so Rodgers

lol just catching up with this thread and this is absolutely gold. The bloke is absolutely shameless. "Honda Civic" while managing Celtic against DUNDEE.

God he's awful. How do people fall for him.

Honestly, it's such a stupid analogy. I'd still expect someone driving a Honda Civic to beat someone on a pushbike.

As is this:

Every member of the Board and executive team is deeply passionate about Celtic and acts at all times with professionalism, integrity, and a shared desire for success. What has failed recently was not due to our structure or model, but to one individual’s desire for self-preservation at the expense of others.

Being called out on his personality is brilliant.

Imagine if there was the self-respect here to do this. No chance though. We are weak at the core.

That statement is brilliant lol

"We'd like to thank Brendan for his efforts, however he's a shady **** and here are the many reasons why..."

I love it lol

They won't, but any potential future employer should really think carefully about what this is saying about him as a man.

Once he's finished sorting out Brendan's mess at Celtic I'd have him  back here at LCFC to sort this shower out too.

He wouldn’t have a clue nowadays.
