I've not played enough games to compile a good list but my favourite game by a mile has been RDR2, a masterpiece.

I'm surprised only a couple of you have included Horizon Zero Dawn.  If you don't have a PS4, then you're missing out on one of the greatest games ever created, not just a game for the last decade.  Anyway, onto the list...!

I think HZD plays great, but the story and progression is quite bland.

Don’t play too much these days apart from FIFA and F1. Those series aside, I’ve only put serious hours into these five:

Breath of the Wild

Super Mario Odyssey
 

Any recommendations welcome 👍 Something Zelda-like on Xbox or Switch would be nice to check out.

I think the story is fascinating but the second half of the story is told almost entirely through exposition using voice recordings and notes.

Only play games on the PC, haven't touched a console in years so tend to mostly play mostly multiplayer with friends.

Was Portal2 really this decade? Wow, for some reason I was convinced it was older. Brilliant game, would definitely add that to my list.

thought shadow of the tomb raider was boring af. story was terrible. 2013 one was brilliant tho
