Decent enough. Burnley happy to blitz the box with aerial stuff, no surprises but still needs concentration and to match them.

 

Linking up nicely at times but do need to exploit that more. Not the flow we had a couple of months back but signs it's still in us. Mendy doing a splendid job, really do see a place for him in the rotation system. Big 45 now to keep heads, focus and finish the job off 👍

Made it through to halftime with our noses in front. We look very imbalanced. Continuing to play Perez out of position on the wing doesn't help. I'd bring on Albrighton or Gray to address this. Ricardo is our best player going forward but his forays upfield leave us exposed at the back. With the lead we now need to establish our possession game, draw them out and catch them on the break for a killer second. Win ugly if we have to as a win here is huge going forward as it would be a hammer blow to our would be chasers.

The ground looks to be only about 80% full. We almost filled the KP for the Third Round of the Cup against Wigan - shows how firken dreadful Burnley must be week in, week out.

Great to get in 1-0 up.

Not playing particularly great, but we’re away and it’s upto Burnley to now come at us and it will create more space on the break.

 

We still look a little tired and taking that extra touch or pass.....considering we’re 3rd, our confidence looks low at the min and areas of the team look disjointed.

 

Hopefully nothings happened behind the scenes to disrupt our season as we should be high on confidence on what is a great season
