Terrible performance.

Not enough desire is the main issue. There is simply not enough pressing or running done.

Then add:

Vardy mainly isolated. Perez almost constantly played regardless of performances. Maddison more interested in diving than anything else.

Something radically must have changed within the dressing room in my opinion.

Given everyone a 1.
Don’t deserve anymore than that for losing to the worst footballing side in the league.

Wheels have completely fallen off and if we don’t spend any money in the summer on some quality attackers then it’s not unthinkable to think we will be bottom half next season.

I don’t have any confidence in watching a winning performance anymore, it seems the players don’t either. Even from a winning position we looked shaky.

This isn’t an individual being out of shapes, no scapegoats... the whole side are awful right now

Really poor

Forgot Perez played he was that bad, offered nothing at all today.

He just can’t play out wide, if those are our intentions we need to cut our losses

6: Ricardo, Soyuncu, Barnes & Iheanacho

5: The rest, except....

4: Perez, Mendy

I've certainly given players lower scores in the past, but I don't think I've ever given nobody higher than 6..... :nono:

Problem with that thesis was he wasn’t even playing out wide (Ricardo ran the flanks).

5,   Schmeichel. not a bad game, but we need a keeper that comes for the ball and not stand on his line.

5,   Pereira. better than some, made a lot of mistakes but kept trying.

6,   Evens. Not a bad game but needs to move the ball quicker, holds on to it to long.

6,   Soyuncu, needs to learn from evens and stop rushing in.

5,   Fuchs, nice to see him ahead of Chilwell for a change.

4,   Mandy, not up to it.

2,   Perez, How he keeps getting picked is beyond me.

4,   Praet,  needs more game time.

2,   Maddison a total waist of space, needs to play for the team. It’s all me me me.

5,   Barnes good goal , but gets pushed about so easy.

6,   Could have won us the game 2-1 and they would have been dead.

Off day for all onwards and hopefully upwards.

Outplayed, outmuscled, outpressed, outpassed. Never really looked in the game.

Can’t blame it on Ndidi’s absence when the whole team is misplacing passes.

No one deserved better than 6 or MotM.

Perez a 3, Maddison, Vardy and Schmeichel (whose time-honoured inability to command his six-yard box was predictably exposed today) all 4.

These ratings, like other recent ratings, suggest people are overlooking the downturn in Ricardo's form: the massive drop-off in end product, and the fact that both Chilwell's and Riccy's advanced positions in games have led to sides getting in round the back, or obliging us to stretch ourselves by getting a CM or CB (often both) to cover the RB berth.

It's perfectly reasonable that people have pointed the finger at the LB. But a little unfair that people haven't looked on this as a wider problem with the positioning of our full backs. Pereira is one of the world's best right backs, and poses a great attacking threat, so we've allowed that to blind ourselves to the gaping holes he's leaving at the back.

A lot of that is shape-based, or related to wide attacking players not fulfilling their share of defensive duties, and is therefore the manager's responsibility, rather than the individual's. Yet it's interesting to see the impact of a full back on a winger's performance, and vice versa - Barnes, for instance, is better with Fuchs behind him. Perez and, when he plays there, Maddison on the flanks leave the advanced full backs badly exposed.

But sides are exploiting our defence out wide - on both flanks when Ben is playing - and Pereira's considerable quality on the ball has led fans to overlook his share of the blame. The spine of our side - in the centre of defence and midfield - is getting pulled all over the place right now just to maintain this approach.

Agree. Or put him central when Maddison is off it like he was today. Perez is never gonna get form when we constantly drag him off after 60 mins every game.

how can you have kasper as our best player today? he literally didn’t do a single thing right? not sure he made a save and pretty much every single kick/throw out ended up with us being under pressure 10 seconds later.

We were playing with the same formation and positioning of our full-backs when we ripped off 8 wins in a row.

That doesn't mean to say sides haven't been looking at us in the meantime and figuring out the flaws in our set-up.
