twister Posted 26 January 2020 Posted 26 January 2020 Klopp turning up for facup replay does not surprise me one bit he has treated both cups with zero respect since he got it here. I have never liked the bloke, the media crawl up his arse but sometimes you can read a bloke a mile off.
Deeg67 Posted 26 January 2020 Posted 26 January 2020 Liverpool getting pegged back into a replay in a competition they couldn’t give a whit about is hilarious. I’m sure if he’d been allowed Klopp would have subbed 11 strikers on by the end, and would have been just as thrilled to see Shrewsbury score a winner as his own team.
The boy Linacre Posted 26 January 2020 Posted 26 January 2020 Really enjoyed the Shrewsbury game today, like Rochdale vs Spuds in 2018, you always want the big boys to get a bloody nose. Klopp's approach means they have a great chance of getting past the reds. As for the cup draw, its time Man C, Man Utd, Spuds, Chelsea, drew each other, lets really open it up for us. Then of course either a home draw against 1) non premier league 2) rest; or away to the 3) lowest positioned team or 4) Midlands team Great to see us at it like this in both cups, very reminiscent of 1997 when we were giving it large in the cups, robbed by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but brought the other one home!!! Fingers crossed!!
Steve Earle Posted 26 January 2020 Posted 26 January 2020 Shrewsbury in the 5th, for old times sake. Man U at home in the quarterfinals, just for the wondrous satisfaction of it. Norwich in the semifinal for the right to play the winners of the Derby - West Brom semifinal for eternal glory! Who knocked Man City out you ask? What time did you say it was? What?! Mother? Shit...
Dan Posted 26 January 2020 Posted 26 January 2020 4 hours ago, Corky said: Cardiff or Reading at home. No travelling, mid-table Championship side, should be able to rotate and still have enough. The League Cup will be done whatever so we could even put out a pretty strong team. It's mental think we lost at home to Cardiff in a league game only a year ago.
Bezzanator89 Posted 27 January 2020 Posted 27 January 2020 Seems SeanfromEnderby is not content with just predicting lineups. Has "guessed" that we will get Newcastle/Oxford in the 5th Round because the draw is apparently rigged.
oxtonfox Posted 27 January 2020 Posted 27 January 2020 Alex Jones or Rachel Riley replay at home would be a good draw for me
