We're such a good white ball side it's scary. Success in test cricket will/should always be our priority but I'm so glad we've turned it around in the shorter formats in the last 5 years or so. Brilliant to watch.

Andrew Strauss deserves huge credit for taking the short forms seriously and almost separating them from the Test set-up.

Test cricket is the pinnacle but his vision has delivered a World Cup, we could be highest ranked in ODI and T20 cricket with a great chance to win the World T20 next year- all whilst playing a thrilling brand of cricket.

Agree with this. It’s easier to have more tangible success in the shorter formats with tournament cricket to play and win, so it’s good to take it seriously and try to actually win things. I know there’s the test championship now which hopefully goes some way to bring parity in that sense to test cricket.

Binge watched The Test on Amazon.

Excellent documentary series.

Justin Langer seems a good bloke and the Aussies overall came across quite well.

The behind the scenes material during and after the Stokes miracle at Headingley was very enjoyable.

Love it when Lyon drops the run-out and Langer kicks the bin over and has to immediately pick up the rubbish lol

I just can't warm to Bairstow, am sure he's a lovely lad but something about him really gets to me

Same. And although he was our top scorer today, he failed to score quickly enough in the power play.
