He looked like a one trick pony who struggled with anything other than a team trying to put it on his head a few years ago when we could be accused of being quite direct. I struggle to see how this team that will play 40 passes in build up to getting the ball near the box is going to get the best out of him.

If your gonna play him you cant stick him up front and pretend he is jamie vardy. Play to his strengths. He has scored a load of goals in the past. He needed some help up top.

Was when he picked up that quick counter through ball , and the then everyone remembers he is not Vardy as he just jogs up because he knows he has no ducking chance as well 

 

You have to worry if that's you impact sub front man ,  do people still think we do not need a new striker ?  Nacho did ok in an underwhelming performance but sadly slim looked well of the pace

The reality was that Slimani when he came on was absolutely bloody awful. He genuinely DID look like a Veteran.

Dont forget boys and girls, this bloke cost our club nearly 30 million quid and an awful lot of wages. 
I’ve said it before, regarding value for money, he’s got to be about City’s worst ever signing.

Come on lads he's obviously not garbage is he.  He just doesn't score or get anything here because the service our strikers get is absolutely woeful.  Unless you can run and your name is Jamie Vardy you don't have a chance, our set up and way we play is purely to suit one player.  Hence why we look garbage everytime he doesn't play.

Completely pointless bringing him on, we couldn't get the ball high enough up the pitch to get him into a goalscoring position and we didn't play it up to him to get players around him to get ourselves up the pitch. Asking him to get on the ball in the channels on halfway ffs. If you want to play someone upfront and pretend they're Vardy, stick Barnes up there. 

 

The action he did have wasn't too bad, I mean you'll often see Vardy do what Slim did on the ball today and not a peep.
