No he's on the bench

Livescore originally had him starting when the teams came out.

On the bench because;

a) Protecting him as signing is very close

b) Still not fully recovered from injury

c) His head is not right

d) Puel is showing him who is boss

Take yer pick.

Playing RB!

Which is good to know, as we’re so short there.

And he’s just played a small part in Rennes’ second goal...

Has he still got the ice pack strapped to his leg ?

Dodgy defending .. from the bit I’ve seen ...  but loves to come forward ...  very confident !

Him or Tarks  ?? ...  immediate impact definitely Tarkowski but long term the French lad.

F****off. Hes dogshit,  3 players in front of him on that corner, right in front of goal,  then a fourth just moved in just before kick.  Not protecting the goal at all.

Fofanied that then.  Ballwatching for the 2nd goal.  Wheres the pottential here.  Hes bench material if that from that 2nd goal

He’s been caught ball watching a number of times in the three games I’ve seen him play in. He’s a hell of a prospect but over 30M for a prospect is really worrying when we’ll probably need him this season. IMO he looks a long way from being ready for the premier league.

Yep his positioning for the third goal was terrible ..  not even keeping close to  his man ...   for now Tarkowski would be a far better bet and have immediate impact.

He had nothing to do with the third goal. He was out right in the RB position the ball was played from the other side of the field and the CB was outpaced. Fofana’s “man” was nowhere near the action.

Difficult to evaluate him today because he was playing really out wide in the RB role, often hugging the touchline, but he clearly is comfortable with the ball at his feet.

I know but Fofana was nowhere near his man ... not sure exactly what he was meant to be doing ...
