Gone too far now with this and BBC removing Fawlty Towers, starting to feel glad I’m not there in attendance tbh I can see all the players doing the same routine celebration too, like all the copy and paste twitter messages they’ve been posting.

Disband the police! what numpty thought that one up, i can't believe that people actually believe that if we disband the police and all sit there smoking pot, we will all start living in a perfect society. What's next, euthanise all over 40's for their outdated beliefs.

UKTV removed the episode and it’s back on it now

I posted my thoughts on this on another thread last Thursday.

It is a joke, the shirts will soon be full of so many adverts & political messages that we won't be able to see the colours. Don't be surprised if we all are asked to "take the knee" for 8 minutes odd when we eventually get back  for the first game at the stadium

I really don't understand those who don't get this, in particular.

For all that some people like to label others as easily offended, it's probably those same people that get offended because they think they're being missed out when people say 'black lives matter'. Irony at its finest!

Of course all lives matter. No-one is ever saying otherwise. When someone says Black Lives Matter it's because they want to see equality and justice for the minority/minorities. It's because they want to see BLM up to the level of 'all lives'.

Very much agree with the last sentence, too. Racism is involved in all aspects in life and that includes sport. Given the coverage sport can provide not just in this country but around the world, I support the statement and putting BLM on shirts.

All lives matter

its just a shame there wasn’t the same reaction for Justine Diamond when she was killed by a Minneapolis police officer.
Or David Dorn a 38-year veteran of St. Louis Police Department Killed protecting his friends pawn shop in the violent protests following on from George Floyds Death.

I would be very surprised if that happened.  I would implore anybody who feels similarly to you to take a step back and look at the media they consume.  Who's telling you guys that this is a threat to your daily lives?  Who's preaching that this is a left wing assault on common values?  What do they gain from it? What do you gain from following them?

I don't think this is a bad idea. Racism is definately an issue in parts of society. We've seen some of the crap players have to put up with. So what better platform to show support for the cause.

However I dispute that the UK is institutionally racist. It's not the same as America and I feel we've made a lot of good steps compared to other places in the world. Yes it can still get better.

I also understand the concerns of some. These things often work in a vicious cycle and unfortunately, while the majority of protests were peaceful, left wing extremists have taken advantage of this situation, probably creating further divide and undermining the real cause. Violence and hate get things nowhere. They are the same kind of people that'll happily watch places burn, until the fire is at their own door.

We all just need to take it upon ourselves to support the cause in the right way. Just don't be a racist ****

So fifa tried to prevent players wearing the poppy as its deemed too political yet a far left organisation that attacks police officers and war memorials is acceptable!

For someone with the surname Brown, I always found his political views somewhat ironic.

Can people stop using the term “far left” for a group of people just looking for equality for all please.  Nobody is saying that ONLY black lives matter and just because you agree with black lives matter doesn’t mean that you think white lives don’t matter but at this moment in time saying all lives matter is like telling a fireman that all houses matter, yes all houses do matter but there’s only one house that’s on fire at the moment.

Sorry I’ll use the term Marxist next time
