Yes - there is understandably a lot of anger and frustration on these boards, but just pause for reflection and consider the age old truth that sometimes a monumental setback can make a team stronger in the long run. See the post directly above yours. That's how I feel. What a massive opportunity we've potentially blown.

Even a clown can see that Vardy can not be expected to do it all on his own every year.

Missing out on a CL place when so few teams break into that elite group feels much worse.

Deeney day was one unfortunate moment but we played well the whole game. Today was how to lose a game in 25 mins, that we were in total control of and get hammered.

I was proud of my team when we went down into league one, I applauded the guys off the pitch that day with tears in my eyes. But today, I’m ashamed to be a leicester fan. That second half performance was an insult to every single one of us who pulls on a royal blue shirt. The lads have really let us down. And it hurts more than ever.

Honestly, I was having the very same thought: "Two minutes that reversed the trajectory of England's rising football club." But seeing it overdramatized like that, well, you may have started me on the road to recovery. It's footy, not life. Yes, the club still has a future. Which none of us, from the happy clappers to the massively negative, can foresee. Sure, I expect them to drop the last three games. But you take the bad with the good, and I imagine I'll watch Thursday because ... well, let's see what Brendan makes of his acid test. Sometimes they do surprise us for the better. But mostly because, for whatever reason, this became my club and I do give a damn ...

Glad it didn’t happen in 2016 and we are grateful for that. Off to watch the highlights of when Mahrez scored the winner against Watford Away. Goodnight.
