Pickford really is Jekyll and Hyde!

One minute could have been sent off for taking out Van Dijk then the next producing an excellent save.

Best English keeper around according to Southgate ...   mind you, look who he thinks is the best centre half ...   clueless chump.

I know the traditionalists probably hate it but I am lovin these 4-a-day back-to-back game slates. My fitness tracker - not so much.

But it is a bit sad that the only weekend that feels old-school is the final one when everyone plays at the same time. It's weird that it almost feels like a tribute to the norm when really, if it wasn't for money, that would still be the norm.

hamez Rodriguez.

HaMeZ Rodriguez.

HAMEZ Rodriguez.

Yes thanks we get it, his name is a weird way of saying James. You don't have to say it every time.

It was kung fu.

I can't believe VAR hasn't intervened.

Klopp has every right to call that out as deliberately knobbling one of his best players.

Looking at it again, he isn’t anywhere near the ball... that is a red

Not sure why Keepers are given benefit of the doubt with challenges like that

So with VAR now can they still retrospectively ban players for challenges like that? Or has that changed?

"Under PGMOL rules, retrospective disciplinary action is reserved for incidents "not captured by the match officials or VAR".

I assume VAR looked at it?

Adrian is struggling with the spotlight. At West Ham he was absolutely fine, played a couple of blinders against us I recall.

Pickford gets away with it far too much, a terrible tackle that deserved a red regardless of the offside. The problem has arisen since keepers were given licence by pundits to come and take everything out without considering the safety of others.

Have you thought of seeing your Doctor?

Pickford should be off...  Way over the top. I only saw it once before, in real time, so missed the replays, what is shocking is that VAR isn’t used to send him off for serious foul play

That Pickford challenge looks worse everytime I see it.

The people behind VAR assumed that the challenge was irrelevant if VVD was offside IMO which, as explained by the ref on BT is incorrect and they are therefore not fit for the job, if so.
