Premier League 2020/21 Thread

Moss is ridiculous, lets United go through with their attack, then the minute Wolves get the ball stops it so De Gea can get treatment. Bulls***.

He's arguably worse than Vardy to the British fan though, isn't he? He comes steeped in that Iberian football culture of shithouse fakery, moaning at the ref every instance, appealing for literally everything, rolling around theatrically at the slightest touch.

At least Vardy had a bit more of our Northern European stoicism blended in with his cynicism. Absolutely no kind of angel but he's an arsehole in a way that we tolerate a little better in this country.

I don't think Bruno would be as unpopular to fans of, say, Villareal, Sevilla or Celta if he'd gone to Real instead.

Like him or no. He’s a Fcuking talent and he’d walk into most teams across Europe. But yeah he’s an Iberian rat to our Yorkshire rat.

Not sure they will, no testing was in place last season.

More people being test is going to result in more positive results.

Vaccination programme under way, lots of places of work still open.

Last season it caught un unawares though hence no testing, whereas this season even with testing, it's quickly spiralling out of control. Rumours in the press and on twitter about measures as extreme as an 8PM curfew and no exercise outdoors allowed! 30 or so games have already been called off across the leagues in just the last few days, including Premier League games, so sadly it has an air of predictability about it. Perhaps they will allow elite sports to continue as it's perceived to be good for the nation's morale, but if so many games get postponed then it's hard to see there not being a break.
