It won’t fall like this, but what some of us would like is eminently affordable.

 

RW - Francisco £12m loan fee up front

CB - Demiral or ANOther £30m

CM - Eze or ANOther £20m

ST - Edouard £30m

total outlay (excluding signing on fees etc) £92m

 

Sales:

Slimami £10m

Iheanacho £20m

Gray £15m

Ghezzal £5m

Amartey, James, Diabate, Silva - say £5m total


8 off the wage book, 4 on, net outlay under £40m.

 

We can dream, no?

If Benko is not the solution, then we need to go out and find a mobile and quick CB. We simply cannot go into the next season relying on Wes as third or fourth choice.

No, rather give the time to Dewsbury-Hall and Tavares, unless we send them out on loan. It would benefit the club more and the youngsters more. Best if we forget about Silva.
