Sono ore d'attesa per l'Atalanta riguardo alla pista Florian Thauvin, esterno offensivo di proprietà dell'Olympique Marsiglia, con contatti fra le parti che sono recenti e che, in breve, potrebbero anche portare a una soluzione del caso, in un verso oppure nell'altro. Per il francese la destinazione è gradita, l'idea del quinquennale lo stuzzica ma per ora le cifre sono ancora basse per pensare a un accordo.

So basically we are interested but are behind Atalanta in the race because he wants champions league football. Also says he's likely to stay at Marseille and leave on a free next season instead. Just a loose translation though.

I couldn't work that bit out (I don't get to practise my Italian much these days sadly). But that certainly would give me hope. I think it would be a very good piece of business.

@RoyFox would blow a gasket if we got Thauvin. I'd love to see him here, we must stand a chance of getting him as we'd pay £100k a week given we'd get him for under £20m and that will be double what he'd get at Atalanta and Marseille.
