Just read an article which mentioned that arsenal were also interested but our ability to get the deal done now counted in our favour. so getting ben through the out door did matter - does that mean you lose a few million on that sale to make sure you secure the replacement ???

Unsurprisingly he speaks great English. Given that he's coming from a team that play a high pressing style and produced the best numbers in terms of running whilst at Genk, I'd be surprised if he doesn't turn out to be a good signing. 

 

At the end of last season our running numbers and overall energy levels took a big dip too, so having someone that comes in with the energy and lungs to get up and down all day will certainly benefit the side in the early few weeks.

 

Looking forwards to seeing him lineup with the team, and good to see someone (Tielemans? Praet?) lent him a Leicester top for the interview!

Love him already. The team focus now though can and should be to attack other teams psychologically by switching full backs and switching wingers as well during open play to shake things up.

So, the question is, can he play RCB? He has the size and the ability from what I saw. It's possible to play 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2.

 

Maybe he will cover for Ricardo until the return from injury then BR will try it. I won't be surprised if BR trys him at RCB and Marc as RWB at the start of the season.

He is a great defender, but aerial duels are his weak point. I've seen him play CB once and he was good. But to play there for a long time, I don't know.
