baldeagle Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Well that’s come out of the blue would never have thought he was leaving
cal21212121 Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 (edited) In fairness to Youri, he did spend the first half of the season at RB with Tim pushing into RW and Maddison coming central due to the tactical masterclass on display from Brendan. Second half of the season you could tell he was struggling for fitness following his injury, the desire was there, the body wasn't. Edited 31 May 2023 by cal21212121 2
Popular Post Daggers Posted 31 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2023 Sublime talent, completely shat on his legacy this season. Evidence that we should never allow a contract to run down on a major player again. 11
Popular Post HUNTA84 Posted 31 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2023 Only about 10 more farewell videos to go 6
Popular Post SheppyFox Posted 31 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2023 (edited) Someone needs to tell him the word “farewell” means “goodbye”. Edited 31 May 2023 by SheppyFox 6
TJQuik Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Overstayed his welcome but he'll be remembered for one of the best goals ever scored at the new Wembley more than that. Hope for his sake that's not all he's remembered for in his career.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Thankful he said goodbye in a classy way BUT he has been utterly Shite like the rest of them. Onwards and upwards let’s start refreshing this team and getting back to the Premiership. Bon Voyage Youri
Popular Post foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2023 To be honest he will be remembered more fondly in a season or two, pretty much like Mahrez. Just we are hurting now and his efforts last season weren’t near the level needed 7
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Very unprofessional in his last two years. Disappointing but overall we got our money back. Needs to lose a bit of weight and add plenty to his game to be a regular in a CL team. When the going gets tough, Youri seems to eat.
Lambert09 Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 if youri had an athletes body he’d genuinely be one of the best players in the world. 3 1

Rusko187 Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Could have offered an apology for not turning up and fighting. Come to expect that of this squad to be honest, they take us down with a whimper.. probably still thinks he’s walking into a Man City starting 11. Thanks for the memories Youri 1
Foxxed Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Decent farewell honestly. Regress in the final years but then so did the club.
AjcW Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Interesting to announce now. Free players don’t tend to move until July 1st. Obviously we knew he was going but I imagine he’ll be contracted to us for another month, unless he’s foregone the final month pay as a gesture to us? Intrigued to see where he goes next.
Buzzell Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 On a serious note though cheers for that 🚀 in the F.A Cup Final. All the best.
CountesthorpeFox1 Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 I don’t think we will see a player of his quality in a city shirt for a very long time. sad to see him go. They’ve clearly been told to not put anything on social media about the relegation. A touch of class from him to put that up when most dont (not so classy running his contract down 😂) 2

Popular Post Bert Posted 31 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2023 I think we were so lucky when we had prime Tielemans. It’s such a shame it’s had to end like this, relegation, leaving on a free. He’s given us a moment we all dreamed of, and scored some some absolutely sensational goals along the way. Wish him all the best. 13

Craig Posted 31 May 2023 Posted 31 May 2023 Gave us one of the best single moments supporting the club at Wembley, but the last year or so it has been painful watching him seemingly stroll around when we needed more - whether that be down to fitness or just a lack of effort and him having checked out. Shame. 1
