Yep, I have no problem with going for signings like him, Kapustka, JJ. Punts like that are worth taking and we should continue to take them.

To be fair, how many more times did he play after that Peterborough game? I thought he offered something and looked promising but we never really saw him again and persevered with our other inconsistent wide men.

Move didn't work out but he never looked good enough aside from against a League 1 side.

Peterborough was good that day.

Games when he started in the PL he looked poor, always looked better off the bench.

He had a few cameos, there were some raw ingredients there and I thought there might be promise. But when he came back preseason he looked utter s*** and never recovered from it.

Also from that forum they have paid 1.5 million euros with a 15% sell on clause. At least that's what I gathered.

If true that's a decent clause, just incase he becomes brilliant.
