Evans is done, even when 'fit' he's injured these days with his foot. I hope we're looking for his replacement as he's been the only one since Morgan able to organise a defence.

Might be better to take a 2-0 loss without playing than playing, losing and potentially losing more players!

Rather go all out in the cup (as much as we can anyway) than try and focus on getting to something like 8/9th in the league.

I'm more in favour of playing U23's than risking players who aren't ready. It's almost a "what have we got to lose scenario"? If we play a few U23's and lose who's going to complain? Obviously some on here!  We might find someone who can step up. At worst we'll learn more about them.

I could see us trying to make a point to the PL by putting out a complete U23 against Everton or spurs on the basis that we can’t postpone games cos we don’t have covid but rearranging them during January is farcical

I thought playing U23's wasn't an option or was that just to get a game cancelled (i.e. There are only 11 senior players and the rest are inexperienced)? I agree with that method.
