KDH is out too? Blimey we really are thin on the ground now! What a season this has been.

we cannot and must not have another season of injuries like this ever again!

Why the hell does this not happen to a team like man city who literally have 2 fully fit A list squads? If any can afford this many injuries it’s them. What are we doing wrong at lcfc? So damn frustrating!

Most of the injuries are entirely explainable and unfortunate. Ricardo and lil Wes were the victims of appalling challenges.

Soyuncu, Barnes, Vards, Tielemans, JJ all went because they were being  'redzoned' due to injuries elsewhere.

Castagne and Evans are naturally vulnerable and they would pull up at any other club

AFCON is outta our control

Reoccuring hamstring injuries though? Evans went off with hamstring early in a game, Ricardo had a hamstring issue as I recall, Vardy's was a hamstrng issue.

I really hope there isn't something in the way these training pitches have been built at Seagrave that's aggravating this, it certainly pre-dated Seagrave a tad and Rodgers has a very dubious track record at Celtic and Liverpool with managing to keep his squads largely fit and available but this is something else.

I can't have it as a valid excuse either, yes you can't expect to maintain a top 6 challenge with the injuries we have but at the same time you shouldn't have the level of injuries we have and someone has to be held accountable. To dismiss the notion it's anything to do with Rodgers and his methods would be gross negligence.

The pattern needs querying, sure, but is it BR or is it the medical/sports science team? I'd wager the latter have more influence over the fitness of players

Good grief that's another one out of the matchday squad. Jobyfox out for a few weeks with mental health issues.

At this rate even the fans will be injured for the game.

At this rate fans are going to be asked to play the games.

Go full under 23s give everyone time off to prepare for Burnley.

The problem is we wont have a U23 team afterwards when half of them get injured.

KDH is the weird one for me. The one that seems not right. He came back to us super fit, looked physically capable of handling this league after bossing a much more physical Championship. Puts a few games together and now this?

Seriously what the **** is going on?

This is crazy. The new training ground looks like a paradise with some of the best facilities in the world to look after there bodies. How are they all breaking down constantly? The amount of injuries we get makes it look like they're being sent to some sort of marine Corps boot camp.

It has been a pretty mad schedule but this is unprecedented. I get the feeling it's nowhere near over either. Well actually, it would be a surprise if it is, because these things are a bit of a vicious cycle and we're now stuck with 9 senior players going into a run of 5 games in 15 days, so we'll no doubt be picking up a few more injuries.

I think the Liverpool game is gonna feel a bit like the norm. The only hope is that it creates a bit of a siege mentality if nothing else.

I've zero expectation for this season now. There's bad injury situations and there's this. This is just completely farcical and laughable at this point.

Would love to see how our side trains compared to others in the league.

Perhaps BR told the lads to go to the darts in the hope someone would catch COVID and we can postpone the games!

I actually wondered this. Surely not?!

Simply players having to return early or play too often due to lack of options.

Doesn't need to be covid.

13 senior players need to be fit - could be covid or injuries caused by playing as a result of covid.

Don't know what happens if we cancel twice.

i've (yes i cant believe that i have but i did) looked through the PL HANDBOOK

i cant see where the rules specifically allow for a postponement on the grounds of injuries. we can appeal to the PL board to postpone the game but because we already had it cancelled once, why would we get a sympathetic hearing ??  how would we argue that any of the injured players are unavailable as a consequence of having covid??  i dont think we had that many covid cases - i think it was as much players isolating because unjabbed. from what i can see, those who were unavailable due to covid are now fit. .

when leeds played arsenal on dec 18th, they had a kid at right back and the rest of the team were first team squad members. the bench looks to be all kids, one with experience.  on that basis, i think we will struggle to argue for everton to be called off unless we pick up a few more knocks tomorrow.

Maybe it's the medical team giving him shit info in terms of what the initial injury diagnosis is?

...it just goes to show they know nothing!!!

Not exactly a great medical team when it comes to getting players back and onfield assessments.

Rodgers record at most clubs he's been at is diabolical so he must be very unlucky in the sports science and medical teams he inherits and in Leicesters case, helps put together.
