Weve been playing catch up all season and needing points. Sounds ridiculous but the inability of vestergaard and the lack of trust in him has meant soyuncu and Evans have played way too many games.

I agree, although we have the best selection of 3 strikers in the league, arguably world football and we still are left with zero as it stands 😂😂😂

Imperative that we bring in a centre-half. This isn't short-termism either. Evans is almost out until the end of the season and with his injury record he can't really by relied upon in future, despite how good he's been for us.

Most of the injuries are entirely explainable and unfortunate. Ricardo and lil Wes were the victims of appalling challenges. 

 

Soyuncu, Barnes, Vards, Tielemans, JJ all went because they were being  'redzoned' due to injuries elsewhere. 

 

Castagne and Evans are naturally vulnerable and they would pull up at any other club

It's just laughable at this point. It's borderline unprofessional. How is it even possible to have this many?

 

We'll no doubt now rush Soyuncu and Daka back and they'll both end up out too.

 

Season's a write off. I think we'll do well to finish in the top half.

Think it's probably a mixture. There's plenty of cases where they've aggravated something in training then played. 

 

The point still stands though, it's clearly a conditioning/recovery problem if you get this many injuries. Of course you have injuries like Justin, Fofana, Ricardo where it's bad luck but there's been so many muscle injuries that suggest an overload on the body. It's more than just bad luck.

I really hope there isn't something in the way these training pitches have been built at Seagrave that's aggravating this, it certainly pre-dated Seagrave a tad and Rodgers has a very dubious track record at Celtic and Liverpool with managing to keep his squads largely fit and available but this is something else.

 

I can't have it as a valid excuse either, yes you can't expect to maintain a top 6 challenge with the injuries we have but at the same time you shouldn't have the level of injuries we have and someone has to be held accountable. To dismiss the notion it's anything to do with Rodgers and his methods would be gross negligence.
