Has everyone of our squad been injured/ill at some point this season?  I am struggling to think of any injury/illness free player - may be Thomas and Jacko?

Kasper?

Just buy another young striker with potential. Plan to sell Nacho in the summer - as Brendan doesn’t seem to like or trust the guy and struggle through what is fast becoming a season to forget.

Or just slap Barnes up front, or Perez or whoever.

I was surprised Vardy play on the 28th. I was told he had zero chance of playing - basically you might as well have Vards as doubtful from November to February every year cos that’s three years on the bounce he’s got muscle strains at that time of the season

Wasn’t it meant to be 3 weeks.

I know people joke ‘if Rodgers say X amount of time double it’ but it’s getting ridiculous now.

Maybe it's the medical team giving him shit info in terms of what the initial injury diagnosis is?

As per media ask him on the spot but Rodgers chooses to give a time frame rather than say something benign like ‘have to see what the scans says’

Reality is the physios and doctors don’t know until the scans are done or swelling is down. I don’t know why Rodgers keeps declaring time frames. Makes him look stupid.

It may well be.

As I said a few week ago, someone, needs to held accountable and asked questions of.

Surely we will get a few ‘injury’s’ tomorrow to take us below the minimum number to play the matches against Everton and Spurs!

Sounds like we might already have a couple more real absentees. Won't need to tell any porkies.

Only if we have a covid case .....

Is it just Covid?

Surely if we can't put out 13 players plus 2 goalies then the game gets called off even if they're 'just' injuries?

Wasn't Vardy avoidable though? I seem to remember him struggling at the end the game before last and with one game left in Iheanacho, surely Vardy should have been rested in order not to make things worse.

Or close the training ground down, Oh sorry forgot that's just for the "big six"

As unifox said, we did that

Tough sh*t unless you don’t have a keeper

we have U23’s to come in who are eligible if U21 because they aren’t part of the 25 named squad

It was home to Liverpool and we took a chance - maddening that he would have had another two weeks rest of he hadn’t played.

Sooo stan...remember when I said I'd hold him to account if keeping Vardy on the pitch meant he would be out for a while

Apparently the presser is cancelled cos Brendan tripped over his shoelaces on the way to the iPad and banged his face on the ground  ….

Twisted teeth - six weeks without pressers ….

Make that 12 then.

Anybody back?

“No. None of the players who have been out will be back for the weekend.”

Vardy?

“It could be up to eight weeks, yes. It’s the higher end of his hamstring, so you’re looking into March. He doesn’t need an operation, that was the only good news.”

Evans and Soyuncu?

“Jonny Evans has just had an operation so he will be April. He’s needed that on his hamstring. Soyuncu you’re looking towards Burnley, that’s good news. Jonny not so good.”

Bertrand?

“No, Ryan Bertrand is still not ready, he’s got an issue with his meniscus. He’s got a specialist looking at that.”

Justin?

“JJ will be playing in an Under-23 game tomorrow, and then we’ll look at it going into next week. That will be a huge boost to get him back. But we have to be careful.”

Daka?

“We’re looking towards Burnley for Daka.”
