Same 1-3 order here, and I'm not even bothering going round someone's house if all they have are Quality Street tbh

Quality Street, Coronation Street.

Neither make me want to get involved.

Roses over heroes holy shit man that’s the craziest thing I’ve read on here all week and I’ve been browsing the trump thread.

I preferred Heroes when they first came out, Fuse (granted they've been discontinued now/Nuts About Caramel/Picnic were all in there, but they've been ruined now for me so Roses every time. Roses are the only one where I like everything.

Thornton's.

Every time.

Thornton's are at least a division or two above Celebrations etc. Back in the day box of Black Magic Chocolates were good but the best ones no longer in the contents. As with so much in modern life a lot of the smaller manufacturers now out of business so often what we have now is very ordinary

This thread always reminds me of Reef so both thank you and f**k you in equal measure depending on the album.

I still, even as a middle aged guy on the downward slope doing a job I relatively like, hate Sunday nights in absolute equal measure to the amount I love Friday nights.

48 hours - but a world apart.

Never thought I’d say this but I really look forward to Mondays now. Kids at school, wife at work, house to myself.

Peace and quiet to get on with stuff and no arguments, distractions.

Weekends now are mainly being Dads taxi or visiting elderly parents.
I live for the weekdays where I can play golf, go to the gym, and just do my own thing.

Getting some stinking hangovers recently on relatively little alcohol.

Drink more water and don't mix as much. I am essentially hangover free from my 30s when I started consistently having tap water throughout a session and sticking to beer and whisky only. Having longer dos as well, could never afford all-dayers in my early 20s

I generally do the same and it makes such a difference.

Didn't have any water at a paid for work related do last week, had a glass of wine and a couple of shots as well and I was absolutely rotten Saturday morning even though I wasn't that drunk.

I haven't drank for over 7 years but a tip my uncle gave me years ago when I did always helped.

Just before you go to bed after drinking (if you remember!) take 2 paracetamol with a glass of water.

Wake up, and the hangover isn't that bad.

Always worked for me.
