Sean Connery RIP

[SpacedX]

A Scottish legend and arguably the definitive and best Bond by far.

[Leicester_Loyal]

Oh no, a fine actor and one of my favourite bonds.

RIP.

[Babylon]

This makes me sad  What a legend.

[Buce]

Although he was the definitive Bond, my favourite film of his was The Man Who Would Be King.

He'll be sadly missed.

[Bellend Sebastian]

90! Hadn't realised he was that old. Weirdly, I was listening to James Bond themes about an hour ago

The Man Who Would Be King

Indiana Jones

The Rock

The Untouchables

Should have done more films than he did looking back in the 80's and 90's.

[ealingfox]

Loved The Hunt for Red October and The Untouchables. Last Crusade has always been my favourite Indiana Jones, and when someone says James Bond your first thought does tend to be his iteration.

RIP.

Couldn’t speak proper English ...  mish money penny ...   pooosy galore ..   and could only ever playone role ...  Sean Connery ....   but definitely the best Bond of the lot ...   such a shame but I didn’t realise he was about 90 ...

[Zear0]

RIP

[urban.spaceman]

One of our very, very best.

[StanSP]

Terrible news to hear. One of my favourite Bonds. RIP to a legend of acting.

[spacemunky]

Always surprised me that Moore was older than Connery.

I grew up with Moore as Bond. I remember my dad explaining to me, as we watched From Russia with Love, that this was the 'real' Bond. That is still my favourite Bond film.

RIP Mr Connery

Sean Connery ,with Stanley Baker & Michae Caine(still going) , were my favourite British  Actors

from the 50s black n white films....Not just for their famous Marker roles...

Then they excelled even after their considered peak years....

Sho shad

Watch it to the end

[Vacamion]

One ping only...

He saw no issue in proclaiming his views on Scottish independence, whilst not having lived here or paid taxes for decades.

Señorita beater, too.

So, not a fan.

Anyone who can't see that T. Dalton was by far the best Bond has not been watching the films.

Mr Connery's demise now means that Billy Connolly is now Top Scot, with Kenny Dalglish, Sharleen Spiteri and Carol Kirkwood eyeing the crown from the sidelines.

And I thought the people in the Corona thread were on glue.
