Hey Nalis! Hope all is well with you too!

You took your Canadian friend to Millwall to give them a taste of what Premier League football might be like? I just love your sense of humour!

They won't forget that I'm sure lol

They actually suggest it would you believe! I told them it wasnt going to be songs like 'We love you Arsenal/Chelsea/ Spurs' but they didnt listen. To be fair to them I didnt try to convince them too much so part of the blame is definitely with me haha.

As bad as it was its not even close to some of the very bad days of 2001-08.

Within a week or so we had Sevilla on the back foot and thrashed Liverpool.

Losing 0-5 to Bolton takes some beating but surely the worst result  which hardly gets mentioned in the clubs history was losing to Harlow  who could well be as low as level 9

True. I remember watching Leicester v Cheltenham at our place when we had about 8000 in. It was so depressing. May we never be there again!

I think that was the season we had Tom Cleverley on loan . I watched him run Millwall ragged down at their place and thought we had a wonderful find . I didn’t think he’d turn out to be such a pointless player later in his career

Personally think the 0-1 loss at home to Plymouth in the relegation to League 1 season is the worst i've felt watching us.

Completely grim.

The 2-1 loss to Newport in the Cup was horrendous given it was broadcast on national tele. Horrible to see the club just give up on the FA Cup.

The goal Colchester scored in the year we went down was met with stunned silence and although we equalised the sense was the writing was on the wall.

The 1-3 Sheffield Wednesday defeat a couple of weeks later all but guaranteed relegation and was a real low point.

Harlow was a personal low as well and as a young kid took some time to get over - winning the league that season helped.

Didn't go to this match but was at the FA Cup tie there a few years later in 1991. We were leading 1-0 until two late red cards for us. Two very late goals in a couple of minutes sent them through 2-1.

I can remember the chant in our end changing almost immediately from "will you come to Filbert Street" when they equalised to "we'll support you ever more" as their winner went in straight after.

Even though their fans were celebrating victory it was very hostile leaving the ground and made me wonder what it would've been like had we won.

I was there that day as well as the Ranieri one, mate Oz got a really nasty cut from a coin in the 1991 cup game, we was effing cruising and the ref had a shocker, was it Walsh and Ramsey who got sent off?, kicked off big time after that game outside

The Ranieri cup game our bus got bricked, no love lost between the two sets of fans, always been trouble.

This! at that point we'd only ever won a League Cup which was pretty tin pot when we did not even a Wembley Final. Then to lose the Kudos of being one of small band of teams never to have played below the 2nd tier of English Football.

Yes it was Walsh and Ramsey.

I don't think Millwall have any particular dislike for us. Their fans are vitriolic towards all away supporters.

1991 was no picnic either following the cup exit there. It's one rough shitehole.

That was truly awful.

Result and outside afterwards

I was also there, and came away unscathed. I must have been scared but have no memory of that. I do remember scanning our fans after the debacle at the end and seeing stunned incomprehension written on many faces.

Watching Cleverley is about the only thing I remember from that match. He was going places.

I remember a load of fans trying to storm the pitch. Absolute madness. I was with ALF and some of those lads were a bit tasty and I don’t remember being too concerned.

String vest bloke was my overriding memory of that day.

That and knowing Ranieri was done.

That and ‘who’s the wvnker in the cap’ sung by the whole top tier lol

That was a horrendous day. I remember coins and lighters flying in each direction.

I actually felt worse after that than I did for Newport or even most games in The Championship. The realisation that we'd gone back to being so shit less than a year after lifting the title. And as many have said, it was the day I also wanted Ranieri to go. They were a 10-man League One side.

Incidentally, I went to watch Bradford v Millwall in the play-off final a few months later and they pitch invaded Wembley too lol
