Also, I love the way he got involved with a bit of the shithousery when complaining about Jota's elbow and pushing Williams over after a challenge.

 

He's been involved in some really good stuff recently as well, with his quick pressing contributing to a few goals. He's coming along really nicely at the moment, and getting used to the frenetic pace and physical, niggly nature of the game. He's a really good technician as well.

 

Hopefully the penalty miss will just make him mentally stronger and it won't impact him negatively. Nothing but good things to say about this guy right now.

Had an excellent game. Solid defensively and he has really quick feet.

 

Fantastic vision and pick out to play Vardy in too. Bertrand is a counterfeit left back in comparison

Jota stuck an elbow on him and completely got away with it. Their fans riled right up and seemingly baying for blood. Good on him for staying composed, standing up and taking a pen. Any young left back would rarely ever be in that situation; he's been there done it, learn the lesson and move forward.

I don’t like making any player scapegoats (even Wellens!) but I’m not sure why Bertrand opted for the same style run up as Thomas and placed it in the same place- all after watching Thomas have his saved

Exactly. If he wanted it, then fair play to Rodgers for picking him. There's no point picking a player who doesn't want to take one. He missed, it happens, but the experience will hopefully work in his favour. Next time, hopefully, he'll be more composed and ready to bury it.

I’ve been impressed with how’s he’s come on over the season tbf. I wasn’t a fan at first but I can see him turning into a very decent pro. Hope he doesn’t dwell too much on the penalty miss. It wasn’t his fault we lost the game tonight.
