Justin’s best performance for us. Superb.

Shout out also to Albrighton.

And to Rodgers for switching them when he did.

...biggest shock of the day was Rodgers switching to a back four!!!

Normally he waits till the second half to make changes, even when things are not going right, and was up against a manager who is known for switching it up on the hoof.

One of the times you can give praise to Rodgers and hope he keeps being flexible in his tenure.

Switching from that toss three at the back helps as well.

yep some posters claimed the formation had nothing to do with the performances as soon as he changed it we went 3-0 up and it was all over... that's 2 clean sheets as well playing 4 at the back

Even Rodgers has admitted it himself

This was never a defensive formation. JJ and Marc high up the pitch from the start but that left us a bit exposed so BR changed it to a four and swapped them over. JJ still got forward and everything good came through him. He as involved in all three goals. Albrighton again put a real shift in, played some quality balls and looked completely done in at the end. Think we will rotate one or two Wednesday, maybe Under will finally get a start. Can’t see Sharky starting as he was out on his feet at the end but that’s where our squad is so much better this year.

Rodgers admitting in the post match interview he switched from 5 at the back to 4 and it worked perfectly, fair play for him for making the change.

I'm astonished how many of our fans didn't think, and actually still don't think, that we moved to a back 4 and just switched the wing backs.

Thomas in for Fuschs? saying that though Fuschs did have a good second half after a shaky few moments, would get Under in for Perez, Barnes for Albrighton and go for the win

Most wins in the premier league.

Some qualiteee players soon to be back.

Squad all performing well.

3rd In League.

Seeded in the Next Round of Europa.

Fans potentially back in Against Man Utd on Boxing Day if we move to Tier 2.

What a season so far!! We could have had more points but if you're complaining you're deluded.

3 big games coming up so let's hope we can carry this on.

Rodgers deserves credit for changing the formation as quickly as he did. Put his ego to one side and realised the setup wasn't working - shows he's learning and adapting.

So many of us were thinking we need to go to 4 at the back after Brighton had those two chances and he made the right decisions at the key times. Obviously, it does raise questions about why we started with 5 at the back, and suspect it may have been to match up with Brighton, but then they set up differently than expected. That's what caused us issues in the home game last season when we started with both Ndidi and Mendy, and lacked creativity as a result.

Hopefully having more 1st players returning from injury will encourage him to be more on the front foot and have a more attacking set up at the King Power.

Justin was superb, player of the season for me given the multiple positions he's been asked to play in and at least done a decent job.

Mendy's cameo was good as well, great option to have on the bench to close out a game.

A shout out to Albrighton who worked tirelessly. His final ball could have been better in the 2nd half but he linked up well with Fuchs and Justin, putting in a good shift.

That is a big loss.  Big Wes to step up?  Any chance Cags will be fit?

I would think it’ll be Wes

My guess is Ndidi. Rodgers subbed Ndidi immediately after Evans got booked. He will at Ndidi at CB and Mendy as DM.

Think people are blinded by praise given to our players. Next to no actual insight. Clinton Morrinson ffs?

Yep. We're still a long ball counter attacking side too... apparently.

To me, Clinton Morrison seems to do his research on players of “smaller” clubs. Which always helps for a bit more of a balance view. Granted, some people prefer a in depth analysis of the usual suspects that guys like Souness, Carragher and Neville give you but Morrison is not a bad choice by any stress of the imagination. Definitely someone who puts the work in given he didn’t have the big club career.
