Gerard Posted 1 February 2021 Posted 1 February 2021 I wasn't against the Bennett deal last season, he was just another body in a position that he would only play if we had injuries. Chalobah seems the same kind of signing and with the benefit of Choudhury being able to go on loan and hopefully increase his value for a summer transfer. You only have to look at how much game time Hamza gets to realise Chalobah is just a body if injuries mount up. As long as it's just a loan and not a transfer I'm fine with it. 1

Fresh start and better players may get something useful out of him and for me he’s better than Choudhury, not hard tho.

Astounded really we are chasing down a non-starter in the championship on deadline day whilst the team is woefully short in attacking options. If we end up slipping down the table and out the european spots then I dont see this one being as acceptable as last years.
