In Qatar, in the living room with the AC on, will sit down with my 2 young boys (how long they will last I'm not sure). Alternative...... pop over to Nick Summerbee's who lives in the same compound as me.

Any decent suggestions of places to watch it in Leicester. Travelling from Norfolk but I'll be ****ed if I know anywhere that will be showing it on a big screen outdoors. Tried that Lane 7 place but they're fully booked already.

Thanks in advance for any help

I hope you get to watch it with him.

My Dad had a heart attack in December and although he has recovered well it does make you very aware of your parents health and vulnerability as they get older.

I watched the Everton game in a pub in Rothley with him after a failed attempt to get tickets to the KP and I will be watching the cup final at home with him. To be able to witness once-in-a-generation events involving our club with my Dad is an absolute privilege (and this time he will have his granddaughter and grandson with him as well).

I'm in a similar boat with my dad who collapsed a couple of years ago he's made a great recovery, it made me realise what an absolute rock my dad is to my family and what an incredible dad and grandad he is....can't wait to crack open a beer with him and watch the final, he attended all FA Cup finals Leicester reached in the 60's..the fact we won't be at the match doesn't matter I'm just glad I can witness it with my Dad.

I'll be watching at home.

I'm very close to few bridges over the M1 near junction 16 and I'm seriously considering putting some signs on them for the lucky few that'll travel down.

I thought this post was going somewhere pretty dark when you said you live close to a few bridges lol

Maybe if we don't get the right result!

I remember the early play-off finals. The homemade banners in the M1 bridges were a part of making them so good.

At home with the rest of my Leicester supporting family.

I'll watch other teams in cup finals, in pubs etc, but when it comes to an FA Cup final that I've waited all my life for, I won't be in the mood to be saying hello to other people or waiting to get served.

Builders bucket, full of ice and beers, with a bottle opener, on the table, in front of me.

I'll be a right mardy basket, all through the game.

My in laws are all Chelsea, so family get togethers, this summer, will be brilliant or I just won't attend.

Unless I get a sniff of a ticket

I will be sat on the couch watching in Colorado, while reading the match thread and (internally) mocking the doom mongers.

I think I will put on a Leicester shirt, despite there being no one around to see it.  (My wife will see it but doesn't care.)

As I have said, I didn't grow up with English football.  It took a while for me to even learn about what the heck an 'FA Cup' was, back in the day.  But I still want to see us raise the cup!

The motorway bridges were brilliant. After one final I was stood out the sunroof waving and shouting as we went under them. I’ve got a derby supporting friend and she hated it,  that stretch of motorway on their way back lol

And Narborough road was great driving down there, all the houses and pubs decorated in blue and white, happy fans waving the travelling hordes home. :scarf:

I remember after the replay win v Middlesbrough at Hillsborough seeing a big “well done Leicester” or something similar painted and a bedsheet on a roundabout near Coalville somewhere I think, those little gestures mean a lot.

The central reservation along the Fosse Park Road used to get done to, was always great to see the city and county decorated for those play offs.

I'll just be at home with the other half and the dog.

We're waiting to move, someone in the chain has suggested that weekend. Fortunately, I've decided that Pickfords aren't available :nono: 😂

Although it would be brilliant to be back in Leicestershire before the final :)
