But if he continues to give Braybrooke minutes, we stay in the cup and stay up then I’ll be happy to give him until the end of the season. Your opinion on him staying or going hinges on the manager giving an 18-year old kid minutes in cup games? Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ The academy is a huge part of this club’s future. Besides the other two points, staying up and staying in the cup, would be enough. Honestly I just want to stay up at this point.

This team is a top 6 team, no team is too good to go down, but we have a league that is so inconsistent, We all need to be looking up not down. 1 1
BKLFox Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Why do some see being 14th 2pts from dropping back into bottom 3 but at the same time being in the bottom 3 as being cut a drift?
Popular Post Gazza M Posted 12 November 2022 Popular Post Posted 12 November 2022 Made me smile a bit in his latest press conference talking about how a downturn can lead to pressure and the instant need for a change from fans etc. Mr Rodgers is very lucky as our downturn wasn't just the first 7 games it was a good 12 months. Many would have pulled the trigger and I hope he realises that. Again luckily for him we seem to have employed someone who knows how to set a team up defensively (Lars the set piece man) which has bailed him out in my opinion. I don't think Brendan and Co had a clue before. We are now on a good run and long may it continue. However not sure I fully trust our silver tongued Irish friend. 6
DennisNedry Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Good points being made in the Maddison thread about Brendan's influence on Madison's development in the past few years. I think Brendan deserves some level of credit for that. It's also been nice to hear him not shirking the questions about Southgate's squad in the past few weeks. 3
Molson Canadian Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Should we start a new poll ? “Brendan IN or OUT” 1 1
Popular Post Joefox Posted 12 November 2022 Popular Post Posted 12 November 2022 You have to give him credit. We were in an awful position and he’s turned it around. 8
ithuriel Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Did not think he had it in him to turn things around but as I've said before, if he gets us up the table and turns things around I'm happy
Aus Fox Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Subs were absolutely spot in today. We lost our way after the Maddison injury, but the second half changing the midfield killed the game and allowed us to cruise home.
Foxxed Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 I'm happy we're scoring counter attacking goals again and rarely seem to be playing Rodgers' "death by football". 4
Nalis Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Credit where credit is due, we might as well keep him until the end of the season. At that point I think its best for everyone if we part ways before a busy summer transfer window. 1 1

Tanya Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 Apology tour time? What impressed me today was the subs. Mendy and Ndidi are the perfect pair to see a game out against a really combative team like West Ham. We took control of the midfield. That is Brendan. Also sticking with Ward? Great decision, since he looks really assured now. 2
foxfanazer Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 I don't even know where I am with him anymore 😂 It's like we've been in an abusive relationship but we've both changed our ways Gotta give him huge credit for this recent turnaround though. Whatever he's done I hope it continues

Tuna Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 He's definitely turned it round, but Top needs to back him with some cash for signings. 1 1 1

phoneticerror Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 No doubt about it, his head was up his own ar$E at the start of the season and he made some ridiculous decisions. However I can’t really fault much post-Forest.
Guest ttfn Posted 12 November 2022 Posted 12 November 2022 I’ve got to say I didn’t think he was capable of stringing together a run like this again so all credit to him for doing so. We’re winning the same games we’ve been winning for the last year or so (those against sides at the foot of the table) but if you’d have asked me at the start of October I’d have said I wasn’t confident we’d take that many points from those games either. I’ve felt that we should make a change since about December last year and that view has always been beyond just the results, I don’t think he’s the right person to be managing the club for reasons that have been done to death elsewhere. But in the moment it is only fair to recognise that the last few weeks have seen a huge improvement and one that I didn’t think was possible.
