Correct on his attitude, he definitely can let his head go down. I think in a better team he could be excellent. Can play either wing and ST. Could be a good attacking option for us. Definitely strength in depth for our, just a personal opinion though.

Definitely give us something we don't have, I just have quite a few concerns. One mans rubbish is another mans gold though, we're each entitled to our own opinion

Aouar available from Lyon this summer for under £25m. I’d imagine he’ll be looking for a champions league team tbf but we’d be able to offer high wages. Still only 22 and got 8 goals and 3 assists this season.

 

if Youri were to leave, a combination of soumare and this guy would give us really good cover and options.

That'd be great business, they were holding out for more than double this amount for him last summer. He's a terrific player as well.

It would be nice to have someone who is a similar ability to Barnes (who I rate very highly) on the right hand side.

 

After losing Barnes we went three at the back so we didn't really have anyone bursting through midfield to break lines. Barnes has pace and power, Maddison has creativity and guile when he's fully fit and my ideal player on the right would be someone like Mahrez and Trinicao is a similar player although i don't expect him to have that quality.

 

With a back three I just feel we look a laboured side who grinds team down rather than blow them away like we did when BR first came here. You can't rely on two strikers with WB's and Tielemans providing the ammunition.

Another one I think we were linked with a few years ago Ferran Torres has proved to be a decent buy for Man City, wouldn’t have minded him back then, obviously no chance now.

We've chased him for ages and it's now or never for Burnley to sell with one year on his contract. We have Europa next season and all three of our front line CB's have had injury concerns, we really could do with another to compliment them even if we revert to a back four again.

Yeah would be well up for this. Would need considerable amounts of coaching though because he’s been really let down by the style of play he’s used to vs the shite he’s had to play this past year

I really hope not. We shouldn't be spending much on a 4th choice CB. I'm content now with us spending a quarter/third of our budget on a central midfielder that's not our biggest priority because I think we'll recoup some or all of that selling Hamza and possibly Praet. Our 3 centre halves are as good as any selection of 3 CB's in the PL so we need a 4th choice who is more reliable than Amartey but isn't going to restrict us getting in the striker, winger, left back and ACM that we still need.
